Common

God made things common
With uncommon potential
And gave to the world for free

Man makes them scarce
And then charges a fee
What is this logic that values
The scarcity more than need

Gold and silver
It keeps in chest
Poor in streets roam free

What we don't need
It costs a fortune
Did life come for free

Let the mindset change
What is essential for man
Let that truly remain
All else is but in vain

The potential that lies within
To actualize that be our aim
In the service of common man
All may strive
And not for fame.
