Body and soul

Soul is not bound but free
But when it stays in a body
It has to struggle every moment
As long as the body has life in it

You live in your body
But you live in your soul too
Which is the sail of your life boat
And shall take you where it would

When body becomes one heart
And mind but one soul
The world shall be full of heart and soul
And merrily it shall soar and float

Be it a sage or a common soul
Body is given as a gift to adore
Let it become a heavenly abode
Where the soul be at peace as in heavens above

When life is all light and bright
It soars like a soul to touch the skies
And when it leaves the body in due time
The soul that remains goes beyond all heights!
