Brainwashed mind

When light is no light
And darkness abides
An innocent life is snuffed out
In the name of the divine

To what extent a man can go
Even a beast may think twice
Win over by love, as some say
Or pay back many a time

To kill is still a crime
And to numb such minds
Technology may be a savior
When wisdom can't decide

Why has man been given a mind
When there is no check save fear
And the law that punishes crime
Nothing holds back a brainwashed mind

Such mind is no mind
But a robot only
That kills thoughtlessly
And is worse than a wicked mind

The struggle goes on
Between right and wrong
Wrong thinks it is is right
Time decides but in its own time!
