but let nothing upset you
go ahead and make a mark
while critics are busy finding faults

Ignore not what upsets you
raw nerve it touches inside you
become stronger each day
and woo it too that used to upset you

Take criticism in your stride
and make way for it while you ride
critics love to dissect their subjects
lest they become arrogant and beat their trumpet

Sensitivity is not for wooden hearted
mechanical and feelingless their life
those who feel and cry with the sufferers
they care not when critics sneer and laugh at their conduct!
