What is pain
ask her who lost her love
and whom in love they made

What kept her alive
one of the two who suckled at her bosom
and grew lovingly before her eyes

When age catches up
and ravages of time have been harsher too
the little girl took upon herself the role of her mother too

The mother was dependent on her daughter
yet she married her off when she was of age
but the daughter took her care in every possible way

But why it happens as it happens
when the daughter with her little son was happy every way
one night a terrible stroke shattered her life in every way

Dark clouds loomed large over the two households
the daughter was neglected in her house as she needed support
and her little son loved her all the more

The mother brought the daughter home
the grand child kept her on the toes
one who needed help stood on her own

Eighty is no young age to burn but to rest
but time in its course puts everyone to different test
the world can pity them but the trio is symbol of human strength!
