Welcome home

Home is where we are at home
though far away we are lured
with money and opportunity galore
nothing else then matters more

We work hard and shine much
spend a lot and accumulate much
still we find it's not enough
to hell with it we have lost enough

Home is where now we turn
to live really and reflect much
friends of yore wait and watch
whom we now miss a lot

We have a duty to serve and return
what all we received that made us us
home is home we owe it much
its debt we repay but it's never enough

Welcome home it now beckons with a roar
it offers all for which we were lured
and that which money can't buy
the peace that comes when we feel at home!
