Reckless

Reckless one may be
Off and on
Not in real life
But only in thoughts

To think new thoughts
With a view which is wide and large
Pettiness left behind in the past
No ego no slant

No thought of future or past
No regrets no plan
Imagination running wild
No brakes no stop

To feel what one wants
To dream what one wants
And to become in thoughts
No less than a wizard

Recklessness knows no rules
And follows its own path
But if the intention is pure
It can make one learn fast

Reckless one can be
But only in thoughts
And coming back to senses
He has a rich experience to draw upon!

Balance

One's aspirations are his life breath
That is the reason he lives
It is difficult to make a choice
Between the call of duty and heart wish

When demands of duty peak
Work also one can't leave
One has to be given a go bye
For both can never meet

Duty is one's life call
Work makes life full
When life is pitted against life
How can the life be full

Some try to blend the two demands
By compromising with work and life
But compromise doesn't work
Either with work or dutiful life

When life is full of compromises
How can one live life full
Work life balance remains an enigma
A tale of regrets and guilt!

Extraordinary

Is sunshine ordinary
Is morning dew ordinary
Nature shows its magic
Day in and day out
But ordinary minds are such
That they always think ordinary
And do things ordinary

Make your minds extraordinary
Make your thoughts extraordinary
Do ordinary things too
But in a way that is extraordinary

Nothing is really ordinary
If our vision is not ordinary
Man is not ordinary
But he makes himself ordinary
The great men do just the opposite
What appears ordinary
They make it extraordinary

The fact that we breathe
It is not ordinary
The fact that we live
It is not ordinary
Do things that justify life
And make it extraordinary!

Shake

The world shakes
No tsunami, no earthquake
No fire, no grenade
But by the thoughts
And the deeds of men
That make knowledge wonder
And shake wisdom at its base

Rules and constraints
Come in the way
When one thinks
What was not thought before
And does what was not done before
Because it shakes the world
And all for which it stood

Do something different
Think different
Walk different
Live different
Make a difference
Shake the world at its roots
But make it amazingly different!

We are born free
And we must live free
No one is less
No one more
All are equal
And that's how it should be

Life is no prison
And why make it so
It is no bondage
Yet it has become so

Do poor feel free
When rich oppress
Like a heartless king

Value your freedom
As if there is no better thing
One may be a king
Or a man on the street

Just imagine how it feels
To be behind the bars
And be treated inhumanly

Will one not crave
To be out of prison walls
To breathe free
And to feel nothing but free

The freedom is our first nature
For which we should strive and fight
Nobody can rule over us
And over our minds

No one is less
No one is more
All are made equal
That's how we should live!

God made things common
With uncommon potential
And gave to the world for free

Man makes them scarce
And then charges a fee
What is this logic that values
The scarcity more than need

Gold and silver
It keeps in chest
Poor in streets roam free

What we don't need
It costs a fortune
Did life come for free

Let the mindset change
What is essential for man
Let that truly remain
All else is but in vain

The potential that lies within
To actualize that be our aim
In the service of common man
All may strive
And not for fame.

A child and her teeth

The mouth has teeth

Different sets of teeth

Canines and incisors

Pre-molars and molars

The last to grow are

The wisdom teeth

They come not before

One crosses the teens

Chew don't swallow

What for are teeth

Eat slowly and relish

Be smart and healthy

Brush your teeth

Morning and evening

Open your mouth

And glow your teeth

Let teeth be intact

No missing teeth

How pretty they look

When no gaps are seen

You need your teeth

When you speak

As they sit on jaws

The cheeks don't sink

Never lose your temper

And grind your teeth

Be a good child always

And bite not with teeth

The mouth has teeth

Different kinds of teeth

To chew and speak

And add to your beauty!
