Where to find peace

Far away from everything
in solitude I look for peace
but how can there be peace
when mind is in worldly things?
When I have nothing with me
and not a soul I see
with the world like this
how can I be at peace?
In silence there is peace
deathly silence doesn't speak
but life is there to live
in the world as it is.
Peace is not a thing
stillness means nothing
solitude is of no help
when mind is agitated.
Where mind is alert but calm
it sees but does not judge
the world be mad and noisy
but one is at peace with the world!
