A painter

He painted what he liked
and painted most of the time
no social acceptance he waited for
and thus his works were original to a point

he experimented and created something new
each time he started to paint
he wanted to show a different world every time
unseen ,unnoticed, unimagined

richness of his paintings lay in
that they spoke so clear and loud
that everyone would feel compelled to turn
to hear what it says

his paintings were so different
that they could not be classified into any mould
as he was himself in real life
a free bird; fearless,unpredictable,charting its own course!

Billion dreams

I am not into politics
but I want everyone to work for seven billion people
I am no academic
but I want everyone to learn more
I don't have a creative streak
but I strongly support technology and its enormous reach
What I am not and where I don't stand
I want everybody to achieve their dreams
Talent and hard work sow such seeds
and nurture them carefully
in due season let them sprout
and in their own time
they shall become trees
each one with its own fruit
I am no dreamer
yet I want to live in seven billion dreams!

Poetry

Poetry is the language of the heart
have a heart to say what one wants
and a poem is composed
that gives away one's heart
Everyone is a poet
when the heart takes over
and let it be so
the world needs more poets!
